Could you be more specific about Table Properties? I can't see anything
there to centre the TABLE in the page.....

If you want to center it horizontally, you can choose Center on the Table
tab of Table Properties, but it's quicker to select the entire table (by
clicking on the table handle) and press Ctrl+E or click the Center alignment
button. To center it vertically, you'll either have to choose Center
vertical alignment for the entire section the table is in or use Space
Before.

it's under alignment...if it was a snake, it would bite you.

Doesn't do anything here - it may align the table centrally horizontally,
but it does NOT align the table vertically, which is what the OP is after
AFAIK....
(Word 2007)

Unfortunately the OP opted not to tell us any pertinent details. This is why
this big white space exists. I see nothing about aligning it vertically - or
horizontally.

"Center of the page" was my clue.....

Specifically it says "how do I center a table on the page".

I think we can agree on the fact that more information would lead to a
better response. :)

Well, my answer covered both possibilities, so perhaps the OP has gone away
satisfied and will never be heard from again. <g>
