How do I center web page created in Publisher when viewed on web?

I am able to create a web page exactly how I want it to look except that when
I publish it to the web it always appears left flushed instead of centered.
What must I do in order for it to be centered when view on the web?

Thanks David. Now I'm wondering if I publish to the web and then import it
into FrontPage, whether I'll then be able to center it and republish it back
to the web? I don't want to spend the money for FrontPage if this will not
work. Any ideas?

I dunno if this will help, but in Pub2000, I just make the page wider.

If you load your webpage in publisher, then go to File/Page Setup and
then choose a wider format, it will fill the screen better. Then you'll
have to recenter your content.

That's how I handled it. Hope this helps.

Most people who have tried to import Publisher code into FrontPage have been
disappointed with the results. The HTML code is entirely different. If
centering is important to you, then perhaps buy FrontPage and start over.
You must remember that Publisher is a DTP, that is intended for simple
static sites. If you want a more dynamic site, then FrontPage is the better
tool.

Personally, I like left justified pages. I would try the suggestions in
David Bartosik's article, and also PeterL's reply. I think you can give the
impression of a more centered page...or at least a more "filled" screen. In
Publisher 2000, the default width for a "wide" page is 7.5 inches. In Pub
2003 it is 760 pixels, or just a little less than 8 inches. If you are using
Pub 2000, make you page wider using the custom size under page setup. In Pub
2003, select the 760 pixels option and then incorporate David's design
suggestions.

Widing your page may provide a simple fix, however different people have
different settings on their computer dimensions. Widing your page may cause
some of your web visitors to have to scroll horizontally, which I personally
dislike. But if you are okay with that, then go for it.

Thanks everyone for your helpful input. I have installed FrontPage and am
learning how to use it with a moderate amount of success thus far. I
appreciate your helpful input to me and wish you well.

Blessings, John
