Hi
We currently use an Access 2000 frontend to show information in our
database, our users manually update each individual autocorrect list that
resides on their machine. Is there a way of centralising this so that one
person administers the list and everyone else just uses it? We have already
thought about the following ways.
1. Host the master autocorrect options file on a server and code it into the
frontend so that it copies it across to each users docs&settings folder on
application startup.
2. Configure Access to look at a different path (the server path) for this
settings file; we cannot find any info on how to do this.
Additionally we have a SA Site Licence for Office and have been rolling out
Office 2K3 to groups of users. Is there any extra functionality or
configuration in 2K3 that will give us the flexibility we want?
Thank you.
