How do I change a horizontally fading color in a cell in Word?

How do I change a horizontally fading color in a cell in Word? I downloaded
a Word newsletter template which contained a cell with the main header in
orange. The orange fades horizontally from dark to white. I tried using
borders and shading but was only able to change it to a solid color with no
fade. Please help!!!

Most likely a drawing object (with graduated fill) has been placed behind
the cell.
