How do I change a positive duration in the Outlook Calendar setti.

I am trying to access information in a calendar cell in Outlook and
everytime I click on the cell an infromation pops up and says " Can't open
this item. You must enter a positive duration". Please give me instructions
to get the cell opened. I feel somehow the start and end dates are the same
and I cannot get in the cell to change them. Thank you for your help in this
matter.
