How do I change colored, underlined proposed language in a docume.

In doing a revision of some Bylaws, I typed in the new language in red and
underlined the language. Now, I want to make that language permanent, but I
can't eliminate the underline nor change the red type to black. I don't want
to retype the whole document. What do I do?

Select the red/underlined text (or if you're ready to change the whole
document, then press Ctrl+A to select all of the text), then click on Format
| Font | Font tab | Font color: Automatic | Underline style: None | OK.
