How do I change equery type?

I have inherited a database but am not at all familiar with Access 2003 -
actually I'm not familiar with any version of Access or databases in
general, but we all have to start somewhere.



Fortunately I have also inherited some process documentation, so have been
able to make a little headway, but am now stuck. The process says



"Open 'qry..' in design view



Change to Delete query and run ..."



How do I change the query to a Delete query?

One way: Get it open in design view. The from the dropdown menu: query ->
delete query

Being new at the, I'd double recomment backup up your db first. A delete
query can do a lot od damage (deleting) is your make a mistake.
