How do I change from one window to another in Word?

I'm in "Normal View" creating a document with many footnotes. I know there
is probably a way to move from the Footnote window back to the document
without taking my hands off the keyboard, but I don't remember how to do it.
Does anyone have an idea how to do this with a few keystrokes? I know the
shortcut keystrokes (Ctrl+Alt+F) to create the footnote in the footnote
window, but have to take my eyes off the page and hands off the keyboard just
to get back to my document. It really slows me down.

Thank you very much.

The F6 key will toggle between the open panes.
