i recently bought a laptop, it came with windows vista in english, but i
bought online the office 2007 home student in spanish
i don't know how to change the languague, i read in here that i have to go
to office tools and then to languague settings, but it only changes the
editing languague, not the program itself, and that is what i need.
how do i change the program languague?
please help, i've tried any way i could think of and it doesn't work
thanks

Did your Laptop come with a trial version of Office that you failed to
uninstall, before installing your paid for version?

You have to buy an Office Language Pack from the Office web site. They cost
$24.95 in the US. Once you install it, then you can change the display
language for Office applications in Microsoft Office 2007 Language Settings.

So you are saying that if you purchased, installed a Spanish language
version of Ofice, you still need to purchase the language Pack?

If you wanted to see English menus, dialogs and help on a Spanish version of
Office, then you would have to purchase an English Language Pack. I think
that is what the OP is after.

Btw, the last time I checked the trial download in the US gave you a Spanish
version whether you checked Spanish or English.

I must confess its not entirely clear what the OP wants
He purchased a Vista PC in English, then purchased Office, Spanish version

Yeah, people do things like that.
