Hello Karla,

I don't have Project 2000 here to check, but I believe if you go to
Format > Timescale in the menu you should be able to set your major
scale to Month, Count 1 and set the label to months, set your minor
scale to weeks, count 1, and set the label to W1, W2 (from Start)

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Hello Karla,

I apologize for not reading your initial post closely enough. What I
think you are asking for is for the Project timescale to count every
week in the month, restarting at Week 1 for each month.

I'm sorry to say this, but I don't believe there is a method of doing
this. Project can count weeks from the beginning of the Project (the
format I suggested), from the end of the project, or from the beginning
of the year. However, to the best of my knowledge, none of the
timescale formatting options count each week in the month.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
