How do I change my old email address in countless old documents?

I have had to change my old email address due endless spam infestation, and
now have a new one with all the spam filters activated. Many of my old
documents are used as templates so I need to change the old email addresses
to the new one.

Is there a "find and replace" facility I can use for a text (email) string
for several files in the one directory?

Is there any other way to do it? Please help, Frank
