How do I change settings to show correct time stamp on e-mails?

The time stamp on my e-mails does not match the time displayed on the
computer, (which is correct). The time stamp on my e-mails is not even close
to the time the e-mail was sent. This is not an issuse of time zones, I've
already considered that possiblity.

Well, it's possible that there's a time delay between when the message is
sent and when it's actually received. I've received messages at 6 in the
evening before, with a time stamp of 3:20 in the afternoon, because that is
when the message was sent.

I can't tell with the information you've given me, however... are you saying
that the emails coming in your inbox have a different time? If so, what is
the difference? Or is it that your sent messages are stamping a different
time. If so, what is the difference?

Oh, and I just learned something:

"Time stamps in Internet headers appear in the local time of the e-mail
server. In addition, a time differential from Coordinated Universal Time
(Greenwich Mean Time) immediately follows each time. For example, -0800 means
that the server time is eight hours behind Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).
This means that a message with a time stamp of Tue, 23 Nov 2004 10:12:32
-0800 was sent at 18:12:32 UTC."

It has NOTHING to do with your computer, see? It's the server. Anyway, got
