How do I change superscripts globally at the same time in a docume

I am having a situation where i have to change references numbers to
superscripts or vice-versa manually, for time consumption, is there a way to
change superscripts globally throughout a document without manually going
through each one?

If the Footnote Reference or Endnote Reference character style has been
applied to them, then you can just modify that style (it is superscript by
default but may have been changed).
