how do i change system language from german to english?

I bought a computer (an Acer aspire 1360 laptop) in Germany about 5 months
ago. The operating system (windows xp home edition) is in German, and i
understand very little German. It is my first computer and i can barely use
it due to this language limitation. How can i change the system language to
english?

No answer here you are in a forum who speak about Microsoft office
infopath. So If you want an answer find another forum who speak about
windows

I have a similar problem, and have been searching databases and forums but
everytime I have come up with the answer that there is no possible way if it
is a local install (generally is) then the solution is to buy the operating
system in english and do a full clean install.. there is no language pack to
change back to english ... mayne this is something microsoft should invest
sometime into ...
