Outlook 2003 containes an option to add flags for messages and contacts. It
also appears to offer a way to customize the graphical appearance of these
flags by adding a new tool bar, and selecting the flag you want to modify.
(See "Name your colored quick flags" in Outlook 2003 assistance.)
Trouble is - it does not work. The flags can be modified and added to the
toolbar, however hightlighting a message or contact and clicking on the
modified icon does not cause that icon to be inserted in the flag column.
The old followup flag appears.
My objective is to add different flags to contacts that show a sales status.
In example: Called (blue circle) left message (red circle) declined (black
X) and so forth.
Outlook 2003 allows these to be created by right clicking the flag in the
new tool bar
but does not appear to allow them to be used.
Is this a bug? Or am I bugged?
