how do i change the background color of clip art

Hello mbb

you should be able to use the right-click command (format picture) on
the inserted ClipArt.

Then you have access to the drawing tools ribbon Tab, and with it, you
can change any object in the ClipArt.

[At least, this is how it works here for vector ClipArts.]
