How do I change the box size-What do I press first?

Suddenly, the only thing I can do is move the boxes, I can't change the size
of them. What do I need to click on to change this and give me access to
change the size again.

You may have the Connector Tool activated. Go to the Standard toolbar and
click on the Pointer tool to return to Visio's default selection and editing
behavior.
