How do I change the color of the sub page header title area?

Showing sub page headers in different colors will allow me to see which
projects are open or closed, just like the section headers have different
colors.............

Subpages are considered part of the page and therefore inherit the parent
page's colors. The color of the subpage's header cannot be changed.
