Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel Hi. i created a beautiful newsletter by starting with the school newsletter publishing document that comes with Word 2008. It has beautiful color blocked boxes of orange with background butterflies, lime green and blue. here's the question: how do I change the colors in ALL the color blocked boxes? Some I can easily click on and chnge, some I cannot. Specifically, I can't seem to get a hold of the orange with butterflies. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

My guess is that the box in question is filled with an image, in which case
you can replace the image with another but you can't edit the image itself.
Your only option would be to save the image as a separate file then edit it
in a graphics program. The shapes where you have been able to change the
color are most likely drawing objects or text boxes with a normal fill color
applied.

Having taken a look at a document based on that template I think I have some
good news for you :)

The butterflies & the background they're on are included in the document's
Master Page. If you click that tab (lower right corner of the window) you'll
be able to select the filled box & change the Fill Color in the same way as
any other shape. You can't change the individual butterflies, but you can
recolor them all the same by using the Recolor tool which appears in the
Formatting Palette's Picture group when you select the butterfly graphic.
