Actually, I found the answer in MS Office Online. Even though it said
"Applies to Outlook 2003", it worked for 2007. In Contacts, on "Actions"
menu, point to "Call Contact" and click "New Call". Click "Dialing
Properties". Click "New". Select the options you want. I was able to
change
the default.

location for whatever OS you are using correctly. We don't know what OS

My computer was "UPGRADED" to Office 2007 - somehow, I accidently set
the
default area code for phone numbers to 650. I just need to know how to
reset
the default.
