How do i change the default standard rate unit?

The default standard rate for resources is $0.00/hr. When i change it to
$/day in Tools-Options-General-Default standard rate(tick)-set as default, it
takes $0.00/day by default when i enter the resource name. But, when i enter
the rate, it converts back to $0.00/hr. How do i keep it constant at
$0.00/day?

Hi Meenakshi ,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup

All the settings you change and make as a new default will only affect the
future. It will not change what you've already done. So, if you've already
entered a rate it will default to the original and not the new default.
