How do i change the double refresh in my client project ?

Hello all,

I have a little problem with my client project 2007. When i'm connected to
Project server 2007 with my client project 2007. Each time i add a task in my
client, it refresh my gantt diagram twice. So i have to wait during this
moment, it's not instantaneous. It's really annoying to work in this way. My
server is on a virtual machine, do you think it could be the problem ?
Because it's the client who doesn't work well in reality...

I know it's a little bit weird but,
Could you help me please ?
