How do I change the fill palette on the Format menu?

How do you customize the color palette for fill items on the Format,
Border/Shading, under shading? I would like to customize it where it is the
colors I normally use, not the default colors.

The fill color palette shows five rows of default colors, and below
those is one row of custom colors containing the last eight "custom"
colors used. You can open Normal.dot (or whatever template you want to
modify) and use your custom fill colors on something to add them to the
fill color palette. Then save and close the template.
