How do I change the language from Spanish to English? HELP!

I

ishotjr

I bought a brand New Gateway Tablet PC, but when it arrived, Microsfot Office
was already installed and in Spanish. I can't read Spanish, so I have no idea
how on earth to change the language back to English despite my best attempts.
It's urgent that I start using my laptop, please someone help me!

1) Office will be supplied in the language of the country where the
computer was purchased; therefore you must be in a Spanish-speaking country
(Spain, Latin America, Mexico, South America (excl. Brazil) etc). The same
would apply to Windows (unless otherwise specified). As you do not appear to
be complaining that Windows is also in Spanish, I must, therefore, conclude
you requested it in English. If that is the case, why you did not also do
the same for Office is beyond me.

2) I am also mystified how you think you can "change the language back to
English" as this implies that it was in English but, somehow, metamorphosed
into Spanish. You have a Spanish version, it has always been in Spanish and
always will be in Spanish. There is no back.

3) You now have two choices: - You can either a) call Gateway and explain
that you didn't realise that the unit would be supplied with Office in
Spanish by default and request an exchange for an English version (they
would be well within their rights to refuse the request as the error is on
your part not theirs) or b) Purchase a full version of Office in English.
Someone is *bound* to post saying you can call MS and request an MUI pack,
however this is *not* true for end users; MUI packs are available only to
Open and Volume licence customers, _not_ individual consumers.

UI(user interface)language of English version Office can be changed to
many other languages but that of any localized version of Office can not be.
