How do I chart using different sheets (I could in 123)

I want to create a chart that uses the same cell in several sheets as the x
axis, i.e create an x axis through several sheets instead of a row or column
in one sheet. Likewise the y axis will be a range through several sheets. I
could do this easily in 123 but have not found out the way in Excel

All the data in a series has to be on the same sheet. Jon Peltier has
