How do I check that I successfully converted a trial version of Office 2003
to a purchased one? ..where can I look for the new license key code, or some
kind of confirmation? I had to send in my laptop for repairs, so am
reinstalling everything, uggg!

You would have received an email from Digital River with the key. Do you
have the disks?

Yes I have the license key, and I have the orginal discs, and I "think" I
upgaded the "trial" software, but how can I tell? For example, it didn't
'extract' the old trial software from my laptop? How I can tell if my Office
software is the trial version or the real version. I will be out of the
country in a couple of weeks, so i if the trial software expires in 60 days,
it is a much bigger hassle then, for example bad Internet connect, etc.

You don't upgrade trial software

Have you tried inserting the disks and following the instructions?
