How do I check if HTMLInlineSoundCtl is installed?

I am trying to set up a background sound to a webpage I have created using
Word 2003. When I click the sound button on the Web Tools Toolbar I get a
message asking me to check that the HTMLInlineSoundCtl is installed properly.
How do I do this?

The ActiveX controls were disabled in Windows XP SP2 because they pose a
security risk. There is no supported workaround to enable this functionality
in Microsoft Office.

Well that’s great get a feature such as this one to only have to disabled and
then a banded by the MS team.

I spend a few hours looking for a way to get this function to work.

If you find any changes that will get this function to work please e-mail me.
someone should make a list of all the functions that no longer work and post
them so that the public will beable to see what they are not getting when
they buy.

I suppose you would prefer to get security holes that permit remote users to
run malicious code on your computer?

well, the MSFT KB Suzanne pointed you to is the ultimate list from a
MSFT POV.

You won't hear me say it's "complete" in any meaning of the Word (I'm
not sure it _can_ be complete, though a bit more complete would not hurt!).
