How do I clear an Advanced Filter

I accidentally added an Advanced filter for part of a range. I cannot clear
it or remove it using either:
a) the advanced filter dialog
b) the clear toolbar icon

I am trying to auto filter the range, that does not work either because part
of the range has the advanced filter.
