How do I configure Outlook to work with my PDA?

I FINALLY figured out how to download Windows Mobile Device Center so I can
sync my PDA. I am trying to switch from a computer with Windows XP to my new
computer with Vista. When I try to choose which data to sync, I am unable to
check the boxes for my contacts, notes, etc. When I try, a message pops up:
"Outlook has not been configured". I have Outlook on my new laptop. What do
I need to do now so I can actually sync everything?

Syncing is not an Outlook function. Ask in a group that supports your sync
software.
