How do I connect multiple objects together on Word 2000?

I have pictures and a text box, and I want them to move together, when I move
them around on a page, how can I connect them to one another so that I don't
have to keep moving one object, then the other then the other?

You can group them. Either use the Select Objects tool on the Drawing
toolbar to "lasso" all the objects or use Ctrl+click to select each
additional object after the first, then use Draw | Group.
