How do I connect positions in org chart

I've read the help on the org chart wizard about dragging manager shape onto
executive shape to establish reporting relationship. It doesn't work at all
in my copy of Visio 2002.

Hi Billy Bob,

Check to make sure that you have "enable automations events" checked on in
in the Options dialog - select Tools > Options and look for this item. The
Orgchart template has solution specific code running when opened, which
enables the connect on drop behavoir. If "enable automation events" has
been turned off in the options dialog, this code will not run.
