How do I convert a color chart and/or table into grayscale?

In Microsoft Powerpoint 2003, I was able to right click on the tables
and charts at which point, the grayscale menu came up. It allowed me
to convert it to inverse grayscale or any of the other grayscale
functions. Now I have 2007 and that menu exists but it's whited out. I
can't do anything.

When you click on a chart do you not see "chart tools" with several grey
options and the same with tables?

The way charts are created and handled in PPT has changed hugely from 2003
to
2007. It seems that a few things got lost along the way and this is one
of
them. I do believe you've found a bug. I'll pass this along to someone
at MS.

Trust me, they're aware of it.
