How do I convert a logo.jpg image in a .doc file to a .bmp file

I have a .jpg image into a word document and need to save that image as a
standalone .bmp file. The "save as" section doesn't contain the .bmp format.

Use the procedure at
http://www.gmayor.com/extract_images_from_word.htm to make a separate
file containing the picture. That will be a .jpg file. Then you can
use a graphics program such as Paint or IrfanView to open the .jpg and
save it as a .bmp file (if that conversion is really necessary, which
it may not be).
