How do I convert a table cell into RTF for storage in database

Hi,

I want to extract the contents of a table cell and store it as RTF in a text
field in Access. I can do everything except get the cell contents into RTF
format.

Does anyone know how to do this. I've tried using the FormattedText instead
of the Text but that just puts control characters into the string. I need to
convert it to RTF before storing it in the text field - but how???

Thanks
Terry

Hi Terry,

Well, if you don't know RTF so can't substitute "bold" codes for "bold"
formatting, etc. then about all you can do is put the range in a separate
document, save that as file type RTF, then extract that file's literal text
and put that into the Access field.
