How do I convert an Acrobat Reader pdf text file to a word documen

I need to convert an Acrobat Reader pdf text file to a standard Word document
to enable me to change and add text?? I have the "Word 2003 for Dummies" book
but was unable to find anything to stear me in the right direction?? Perhaps
I'm the dummy! Please anyone, h e l p!! Thank you...James

You need a .pdf editor, such as Adobe Acrobat (not the free Reader). Word
can't do it.

PDF files are not 'text' files, but graphical representations of the
document. They are not intended to be edited. Depending on how the document
was created, the full version of Acrobat *may* convert it to a Word
document. PDF compatible OCR software such as Finereader would be the most
promising solution - or you could try one of the specialist tools such as
PDF2Text or PDF2Word.

You will need a third party software the will convert the pdf to Word.
Try Googling "PDF Convertor" and see whta you get.
I am not going to recommend or condemn any specific software, have a try at
the trial downloads and see which is best for you.
