u mean like one, two, three in english text into uno,dos,tres in spanish
text ?
or u mean 1,230.00 in english into 1.230,00 in spanish ?

Download and install Longre's free morefunc.xll add-in from
http://xcell05.free.fr/

Then use the NBTEXT function.

As an example:

A1: 1234,56

=NBTEXT(A1,4)

--> Mil doscientos treinta y cuatro, cincuenta y seis


But there are a number of possible variations, including specifying currency.

I don't know the Spanish words, but a variation using English:

=NBTEXT(A1,,,"and","and","hundredth","hundredths")

One thousand two hundred thirty-four and fifty-six hundredths

Lots of flexibility.

Bueno Gerardo....assuming without any add-ins from other source....standard
excel use only....
lets talk 1st the conversion of english numbers to spanish
open your excel file to be converted
click Tools>Options>International>Number handling
uncheck system operators
type , as decimal separator
type . as thousands separator

Now we need them to change this numbers into text.
for the numbers less than (pos/neg) 1 thousand,
just click format>cells>number>text
but for numbers equal or greater than 1 thousand, text conversion will
remove the thousand separator.

Depending on the Structure of your spreadsheet, where the numbers are
located within the spreadsheet.

A copy paste to ms Word doc. will help
then format the excel sheet with selected cells into text by
Tools>Options>Numbers>Text...

then from ms Word back to Excel .... copy>paste special>text

Otherwise, use the add-ins and expand your learning....
