How do I convert Pantone colors 5275 C and 2765 U to Red Green Blue colors in
Word. I need to complete this task today. It applies to eps files and text in
a Word file.

You might Google for a site that offers RGB equivalents for Pantone colors.
For example, I Googled for "Pantone RGB equivalent" and came up with
http://www.seoconsultants.com/css/colors/conversion/. It offers 5275 and
2765, but I don't know what the C and U are.

If you need strict color matching, Word is not the program to use. If you
just need it to be reasonably close, create a document in a graphics program
like Corel or Photoshop. Add objects filled with the two Pantone colors.
Then change the mode of the document to RGB and check what those colors have
been converted to.

Now in Word, select your object or text, go to the color dialog and select
'More colors'. Go to the Advanced tab and enter the RGB values.

You may be able to make use of the Pantone Office Color Assistant
http://www.pantone.com/products/pro...dArea=3&idProduct=72&idArticleType_Products=0

but the use of EPS graphics may further complicate things
depending, in part on the version of Word you're using.
Word has somewhat limited support for EPS conversion,
better/different in Word 2002 and 2003 than prior.

As mentioned previously Word would not be the primary
choice for specific color tasks. MS Office Publisher
may be more suitable if you're staying within the
Office family of products.

The C and U refer to Coated and Uncoated, sort of equivalent to gloss and
matt.
