How do I convert SAM extension files into Word XP

I am running word XP (2002) and I have some old AMI Pro documents (.SAM)
extensions. How do I import them into Word

Thanks - However it still did not convert, although through a link on your
site I downloaded a Lotus viewer and was able to copy the data to Word.
So all in all, your help got me there.
