If you are using colored text, you'll need to change it to black or a shade
of gray. The easiest way to do this is to modify the style.
Thanks Suzanne. I have been asked to change the complete manuscript - all
text, not just photos - to black (or gray scale), so not sure if what you
suggest will cover everything, but I'll give it a try. Appreciate your
help.
Cheers.

When you click on a picture, the Picture toolbar is displayed. One of
the
buttons is for Color, which opens a menu, one item of which is
Grayscale.

Hi Suzanne: If my printers, in fact, were trying to tell me to convert
to
grayscale, can you please advise how this can be done. Thanks.
:
On the face of it, what you say doesn't make sense, but it may be
that
the
printers are telling you to convert your images to grayscale.

I am completing a book that will be converted from Word to pdf
files
for
publishing. The printers tell me that Word is set up with RGB as
"the
colour"
and that I should change it to black. How can I do this please? I
am
using
a
version of Word that came with my Office 2000 suite.
