How do I Converting an interactive Powerpoint file to play on DVD?

Hello, have recently written an interactive story using powerpoint &
wondering if it is possible to convert the interactive file to be
played on a DVD player using the remote control?
The story is using basic text and some pictures & has many interactive
links
For example you could come to a point in the story were you choose to
go East or West.
The links in powerpoint take you to another page not necessarily in
numerical order.
i.e. East would take you to page 2, West would take you to page 7.

I have tried a few powerpoint2dvd type programs and they all seem to do
the same thing, play the powerpoint file as a slide show in numerical
order with no option to select the interactive buttons.

If anyone has any info on such programs please let me know.
Also interested in any other non powerpoint related programs to wright
interactive stories and burn to dvd, as i am not aware on any others.

Many thanks: Louis

Currently, no. There is not export to DVD and certainly not with
navigation. Sorry.

Hi, Louis

How do you link to the target slide, using text link or image link?

If you just placed pure text links, then you may try the free demo of our
PPT2DVD (http://www.ppt-to-dvd.com ) to help you, we have tested that some of
the interactive slide show with embedded text hyperlinks can be well
converted, then burnt to dvd, you can use the remote control to launch the
links.

However, I've no idea how complicated is your show, and whether it can be
processed, you'd betther test it carefully, or forward your material to us,
we'll try to do give you a hand.

Hi Yuki, The way i'm linking to the target slides is by, simply
highlighting text, in this case East or West, then right click, action
settings, Hyper link to: slide, then pick a slide number.

If there is a better way of doing it that works better with your
program please let me know.

Also the pictures i have added are just a few JPG's here and there,
using a Text & clip art slide & importing the JPG clip.
They are not that important but it would be fantastic if i could work.

Yuki, I can also use the action buttons to link to each slide, they
would be a text link & not image.

As for the complexity of the story, it could be anything between 100 to
1000+ pages.
I'm still in the early stages of development at the moment so it could
grow big very quickly.

Appreciate you help on this
