How do I copy certain contacts into my personal address book?

Using Outlook 2003.
Tell me it's obsolete, but I always use my personal address book. I'm in a
network environment where there is a Global Address book. Then I have a
Contacts folder where I keep all the names/numbers/emails of lots of people.
I don't always want to see that entire list of people when I'm looking for an
address to send an email. So I don't want my Contacts to be my default
address book. So I keep an abridged version of my Contacts in the PERSONAL
ADDRESS BOOK which is then my default address book. Sometimes I keep a
couple that aren't in my contacts, but they're from the Global Address book.

In previous versions of Outlook, there used to be a button "Add to Personal
Address Book". That's not there. Just the Add to Contacts button, which is
not what I want.

I've managed to create a Personal address book, but I can't seem to add any
new entries from my Contacts or from the Global Address book. How do I get
some people into the Personal Address Book?

If there's an updated way to do what I'm trying to do, which is to keep a
short list of contacts as my default address book, I'm open to suggestions

Unwise. Support for the PAB ended years ago. Even backwards compatibility
has ended with the current Outlook version. I can see nothing you can do
with a PAB that you can't accomplish with separate Contact subfolders.

Contacts folder into my Contacts subfolder? There doesn't seem to be a copy
function. I want to keep the contact in both folders.

Just like you copy anything else. Either do Edit-Copy, Edit-Paste or do a
right-click drag and drop....

No, actually that doesn't work. If you drag and drop, it moves the contact
out of one folder and into the other. I don't want to move. I want to copy.

It's easy to select a contact, and then click Edit Copy. Just try going to
the new folder and doing Edit Paste. The paste function is greyed out.

So I ask again, how do I copy a contact from one contact folder to another?

Notice Gordon said "right-click". You can also hold Ctrl while you
left-click/drag/drop for a copy.
