How do I copy, paste subtotals only from an Excel list?

After I insert subtotals in a list of 20K lines I collapse to subtotals and
very often want to use the collapsed version only in another spreadsheet. If
I copy, paste values I carry along the details. How do I make a spreadsheet
of the sub and grand totals only?

Hi
after collapsing the data and highlighting the data area:
- hit F5 and click 'Special'
- choose 'visible cells only'
- now copy + paste
