I keep getting an error message when I try to merge several worksheets.
The error message reads exactly:
"Filename.xls cannot be merged into the current workbook. Workboos to be
merged must be copies made from the same shared workbook, and must maintain
the change history for the a sufficent amout of time.
I have 58 workbooks all with different file names. I copied all 58 to the
"Shared Folder," everyone of the 58 read "Shared" when I open them. The
change history time is sufficent in all 58 workbooks.
I click on "tools," the choose "Compare and Merge Workbooks," then I select
all the other 57 workbooks (using the ctrl or shift key), the I click "OK,"
this is when I get the error message.
"Filename.xls cannot be merged into the current workbook. Workbooks to be
merged must be copies made from the same shared workbook, and must maintain
the change history for the a sufficent amout of time.
What am I doing wrong?
