How do I copy the format of another access database.

A colleague in another department has a well designed access database which
can be shared with myself however I do not need all the data. Can a copy of
the database format be copied without all the data so I can install it on my
PC and make any changes that I require. Any suggestions gratefully
recieved. Many thanks. Lindyloo

Dear lindyloo:

Open a new database. Navigate to File>Get External Data>Import. Select the
database file whose structure you wish to duplicate. In the resulting dialog
box, select all Tables, Queries, etc. Click on the "Options" tab. Check
"Menus and Toolbars". Under "Import Tables", check "Definition Only". When
you've done all that, click on "OK". I think that should do it...
