How do I correct mapi32.dll loss in outlook 2003 and 2007?

After 2007 beta was downloaded I found that every additional MS download
created a problem in Outlook. The error is that teh MAPI32.dll is the wrong
version. I have no fixmapi.exe in the C:windows\system\system32 file.

So what's your current status? Did you uninstall 2007 and tried to
reopen 2003? Did you reinstall 2003?

I uninstalled 2007, with some difficulty. The problem persisted in Outlook
2003. The error response is MAPI32.dll Wrong version and Exsec32.dll
incompatible.

Outlook will open but will not allow any actions.

I have tried to repair MS office and Outlook by reinstalling. No help here.
I have tried to repair Windows XP by reinstalling. No help here.

Make sure Outlook 2003 and 2007 are completely removed. Boot Windows in
safe mode and rename the DLL to something else. Then reinstall 2003.

Completely remove 2003 as well. Then reboot and reinstall 2003. If the
problem persists, remove 2003, boot Windows in safe mode and rename
those files to something else (don't delete them). Then reboot and
reinstall 2003.
