HOW DO I CORRECT PAGE BREAKS ON A DOCUMENT BEFORE PRINTING?

trying to print multipage documents and calenders and find multiple
pagebreaks in places i do not wish resulting in blank pages mostly and
occasionally half pages-what am i doing wrong and how do i correct these?
