How do I correct the ActiveX Error 429 component cannot create ob.

I am trying to summarize payroll data from Quickbooks Pro 2003 and 2004 into
Excel. I keep receiving the error message Cannot connect to Quickbooks -
ActiveX error 429 component cannot create object.
