How do I correct this

If I send a test mail to myself from Outlook and receive it in
outlook, the format is different from what I sent, the gif in the
signature appears as an attachment and the hyperlinks have the url
separate.
If I send it from outlook and receive it in Outlook Express, it
appears exactly as sent.
If I send it from Outlook Express and receive it in outlook, it
appears exactly as sent.
Why is Outlook behaving this way.

I take it that it is a flaw with Outlook then.
