Hi =?Utf-8?B?QnVzdGVyMDE=?=,
I have seen a document that has a bar in it where you can slide a marker
within the box -- a sliding scale. How do you create this?
You can't with just Word, all by itself.
I'm guessing this is either an ActiveX control or a VSTO document. In the
first case, someone used a programming application such as classical Visaul
Basic or C++ to create an ActiveX control that can be inserted into the
document. If this is what it is, you could theoretically buy a license for
the control and use it.
If this is a VSTO document, then what you're seeing is most likely a
(composite) Windows Form control, from the .NET Framework. In order to do
this yourself, you'd have to have Visual Studio Tools for Office and be
able to program VB.NET or C#.
