how do i create a default date formula

I'm trying to create a default date formula that displays:

mm/dd/yy hh:mm:ss AM or PM

for a customized field entitled "Record Last Updated". I want the default
date to be when the record was last opened and updated. Make sense?

Why not just store the date in Date1 field, then the format is driven by
your Option settings.

Hi Rod,

I think he was asking for a formula in his customized field to record
today's date as a record of when it was last updated. I think he might need
some code for this.
